Homes of Hope Hires Resource Development Director
We are growing and with that growth comes the opportunity to welcome new talent to our team. Homes of Hope has recently hired David Peebles as our new Resource Development Director. Peebles is a Greenville native and a graduate of Anderson University. His background includes working at Focus on the Family as a Donor Representative and Upward Sports as a Regional Representative. He has served on church staff at Augusta Road Baptist in Greenville, South Carolina as well as two churches in Montana. His role includes engaging donors as well as strengthening partnerships with financial partners.
Our CEO/President Don Oglesby comments “David brings us a new bolt of energy here that we’re expecting great results from. His mission to engage the philanthropic community, connecting them with community development impact that lasts, is one we’re excited about.”
Now serving the needs of 478 households throughout Greenville, Mauldin, Anderson, Spartanburg, Clinton, Laurens, and Rock Hill, we've sustained continued growth through our 70/30 model of financial sustainability. As an entrepreneurial nonprofit, we produce 70% of our own income through housing-related activities, relying on the community for only 30% of our income.
In his new role, Peebles will engage individuals, businesses, foundations, and the South Carolina community, with the opportunity to financially partner with Homes of Hope to ensure continued state-wide impact through affordable housing and job training for men overcoming addictions.
We invite you to also partner with us by prayerfully considering joining the Solid Rock Club, our faithful group of monthly donors who provide the foundation of our ministry.
